Carol Ann Carter
Nationally touted for her mixed media bundle artwork and instillation pieces, Carol Ann Carter has received the Ford Foundation Postdoctoral for Minorities Fellowship, the J.W. Fulbright Fellowship for creative research in Sweden, and the Langston Hughes Visiting Professorship at the University of Kansas, to name a few of her accomplishments.Though Carol Ann Carter is currently a professor at the University of Kansas, she finds plenty of time to travel and incorporate her experiences into her art. Her work has shown all over the world and her public collections include the Detroit Institute of Art, The Indianapolis Museum of Art, and the American Craft Museum in New York.

Carol Ann Carter was born in Indianapolis, IN and received her Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the Herron School of Art at Indiana University in 1970. She went on to earn her MFA from the Notre Dame in 1974.
